Nestled in the heart of Southern Italy, Masseria Specula is more than a retreat venue; it is an invitation into the soul of Puglia.
An Italian Masseria is a traditional farmhouse or country estate, deeply rooted in the history of Southern Italy, particularly in Puglia. Originally built between the 16th and 19th centuries, these beautiful stone estates once served as agricultural centers where families lived, gathered, and cultivated the land. With thick limestone walls, arched doorways, open courtyards, and timeless rustic elegance, Masserias are known for their warmth, beauty, and connection to slower living.
Masseria Specula is one of these restored hidden gems. Lovingly brought back to life by an Italian couple fulfilling a lifelong dream, this once-neglected estate was transformed into a retreat sanctuary and opened to guests in Autumn 2023.
Here, sustainability and simplicity are deeply honoured.

There comes a point in a woman’s life when she realises she can no longer continue living in survival mode, constantly giving, carrying, holding, and pouring into everyone around her while slowly disconnecting from herself.
My work was born from that understanding.
I am Monica Noseworthy, a Spiritual & Transformation Guide devoted to helping women soften, heal, regulate, and return home to themselves.
Through my own journey of healing, embodiment, and deep inner work, I discovered that transformation is not always found in doing more but often in slowing down, listening inward, and allowing ourselves to receive.
